Here you can clearly see the upper wishbone consisting of two normal members. Behind the upper wishbone is the toe link, which has the bell shape.

The lower wishbone has a normal front member and a bell shaped rear member.

Just going back a few pages. The following is the quote from Paddy Lowe that includes the "sometimes very frustrating" that was mentioned with regards to the 100kg fuel limit.

"There were occasions where we saw that last year it was stopping a driver, and Lewis would be an example, from pushing to the limit every lap, and that's sometimes very frustrating."

Not only does Paddy now work for Mercedes and not McLaren but he was also talking about the frustration for the drivers in particular. In this context I don't see how it could be used to provide rumours that McLaren are worried about the fuel limit really hindering them!

The Mushroom bits on the Rear Suspension are made of Carbon Fibre now. Looks like they are pleased with the Results if it goes beyond Rapid Prototyping.

Is that a strain gauge I spot on the pullrod? If so, it might explain why they're steel... it's much less involved to calculate load when the material being strain gauged is isotropic.

First when I saw that picture I thought is was adjustable. So that they could adjust ride-hight on the pullrod itself.
