No.
Rather maximum ~550bhp under 100kg/h fuel flow rate regime.
The impressive top speeds do come from less aero drag (reduced DF), torquey power delivery from ICE and powerful MGU, which could easily have TC like power delivery and... possibly (have no proof) that in Bahrain testing teams may not run 100kg/h fuel rate limit.
I meant power unit, so you are saying about 710hp then (adding 160hp from the MGU-K). Getting closer to the 750hp supposedly the FIA wanted then ;)

Sure =D>
Also bear in mind, that at Bahrain the teams are trying out gearing ratios, which will be frozen shortly. At first I think they selected gears suitable for the track (Bahrain) just to get it going. I believe for the last day (Sat), they will try gearing for the season and then try putting on 100kg/h fuel flow rate limit and go do lapping.

Next weekend I am certain, they will run fairly close to 100% according to rules, with only emergency deviations in data acquisition hardware.

What you have been saying makes no sense - running with an unrealistic amount of fuel will skew the ideal gear ratios. There is no reason to do it.

Well in that case what you say makes no sense.
Fuel flow rate limit is easy to implement following careful prior data gathering and fine tuning of mapping. When you do such mapping calibration at the track it is nice to turn off some things that get in the way. Fuel rate limit is such a thing.

Anyway, that's my opinion, and I don't care if you agree or not, you have the right to have a different one.

Me neither, the fragments I saw in this topic are just high quality computer renders that look photorealistic.

I don't see why you would turn off the fuel limiter when the objective of the power train is to burn 100 kg/h as much of the time as possible. To not do so is o deprive power from the mgu-h, and given that this will be a fairly large fine tuning problem, I can't see any reason why you'd spend track time running in a completely unrepresentative state.

Nico has just taken the W05 round in 1.33.662. That time was good enough to make Q3 in last years Qualifying! How much slower did they say these cars are going to be ????

At this rate they would be within a second of the qualifying lap by the end of the third test.
Are last years medium compound comparable to this years super softs?
