Legality of McLaren's "Butterfly" suspension

That act as the roof of the second diffuser. I wouldn't call it the same.

So how many of the other teams challenged the suspensions legality at the first race??? I guess those of us saying it was perfectly legal was right.

I wonder how many teams will copy this.

Probably none. Requires too much redesign of the rear suspension and the stuff it mounts to, for something that may not be that big of a performance improvement.

But what do I know. I suspect every team is at least looking into it to see if there's potential, though.
