Legality of McLaren's "Butterfly" suspension

Not sure if anyone mentioned this, but it isn't the first time McLaren have blocked off that area. They have experience with it in 2010. They did have to package a Double Diffuser in there but it's still something that they tried to achieve.

That act as the roof of the second diffuser. I wouldn't call it the same.

So how many of the other teams challenged the suspensions legality at the first race??? I guess those of us saying it was perfectly legal was right.

Probably none. Requires too much redesign of the rear suspension and the stuff it mounts to, for something that may not be that big of a performance improvement.

But what do I know. I suspect every team is at least looking into it to see if there's potential, though.
