Above are the lap times from the last 2 stints. Alo's is the 3rd column from the left.
Mate, you can't post pictures from Dropbox like that, you have to change domain to dl.dropboxusercontent... So,your picture's URL would be...

https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/s/ene ... 6%2033.jpg

... and now it can be posted...

... and no ALO race sim times there... Around the middle part of the sim lap times were 1:39, as I recall...

Probably just more brake dust on the fronts since the rear braking is aided by the ERS

Right!

Massa and Rosberg claim that the track conditions are terrible today. A lot of dust and sand and wind. If it doesn't change substantially in the afternoon we won't see qualifying sims.

What is wrong with Mclaren? Magnussen did a 1:36:1 on a short stint of 5 laps and on SUPER SOFT tyres. It's very, very disappointing.

The answer to your question is in the post right before yours:

It's very windy.

"Es ist nicht leicht, das Auto auf der Strecke zu halten. Der starke Wind ist besonders tückisch in den schnellen Bergab-Kurven, weil er da von der Seite kommt." - Hülkenberg

-> "It's not easy to keep the car on track. The strong wind is especially treacherous in the fast downhill corners because it's coming from the side"

14:23 Massa and Rosberg are back on the track. Together with Hulkenberg So does this now 3 cars with Mercedes engines. Raikkonen had the way with his personal best - completed 5 rounds before it is bent back to the pits - as Magnussen.

I though that Raikkonen stayed longer than Magnussen on the track for his time, but AMUS said that both of them set their time on a 5 lap stint, Kimi did a 1:36:9 on softs, and Kevin a 1:36:1 on super softs. In Bahrain the difference between softs and super softs seems to be between half a second and a second, so it looks like the Mclaren and the Ferrari have a similar pace.

Sakhir with wind is a nightmare of sand.

Alonso:
"“I’d say that there are not huge differences in how you manage a race distance: without going into too much detail I can say that many things have stayed the same. Last year we had to manage tyres from the first lap and this year it’s the same, with the extra point that the car seems slower thanks to the increased weight and the reduction of the available aerodynamic downforce. You also have to manage fuel consumption and the batteries. There are therefore few big changes even if the time to complete the race distance will inevitably go up. The biggest differences this year will probably be seen between the race and qualifying because you will really be able to push hard on Saturdays.”

Told you, where are my points ;-). Plus it's the same with nursing the tyres "from lap one" - the horror!

I doubt if that's with much less than 30% fuel on board! even though it was only 5 laps. At least it's up there at the top of the timing chart it seems a different car in Kevin hands compared to when the old man's in it! And hopefully we won't have quotes about how behind or slow they are tonight because even if it's true just get on with it Jenson.
