My prediction was also 10... but I really doubt now (even if all teams go with conservative setups). I think 12 days of testing are not enough to fully underatand these machines.Vanja #66 wrote:I raise you 5 more... I agree. How many successful race simulations we saw... 2 or 3? Teams still have troubles with almost every component. Thanks god we have in season testing.erlik wrote:My prediction was also 10... but I really doubt now (even if all teams go with conservative setups). Kravitz said that in China it would be close to 240mph. I think he was implying that China would be the track they would reach the highest speed.diemaster wrote:340 km is amazing in bahrain, what do you think about of monza? is possible 380 km?
All teams have a low drag philosophy. But even at the expense of a little drag teams would love some more downforce. E.g McLaren with their rear suspension.ACJJ619 wrote:Perhaps Ferrari have gone for a low-drag design philosophy in the hope that they can use the engine more aggressively without needing to worry about fuel usage as much, which could offset the time lost from the lack of downforce?
Unlikely as we all know downforce is key. But they could have got it wrong? I did hear them banging on about fuel a lot during the winter.
Kravitz revealed a conversation he had with Nico Rosberg, in which Rosberg stated that 230mph (370kph) would be possible in China.McG wrote:Kravitz said that in China it would be close to 240mph. He's the one who had 27 laps at that point and had second best time...motobaleno wrote:hey guys how are you sure that is alo that peaked 340 km/h?...It's not clear to me looking at the picture...
