Marussia's best time of 1:36,835 isn't that far away from the best 2013 time of the team, which was a 1:36,178.
Dear FIA, if you read this, please pm me for a redesign of the Technical Regulations to avoid finger nose shapes for 2016! :-)

Vettel did a 1:37.468 Min in his last minute lap according to AMuS. The engine was obviously not on full power according to the source.

So it remains open to speculation how fast and reliable Red Bull will be in two weeks time.

I hope you weren't waiting throughout the whole tests to find that out :D

A humble guess based on everything I saw during this winter:
Mercedes with a little edge over Williams(partly due to drivers)
Mclaren some tenths slower
another amount of tenths up, FI
Then, over a second from Mercedes/Williams, there is Ferrari
some tenths slower is Red Bull
then a bit behind is Sauber and Toro Rosso
Lotus
Marussia
Caterham

you ain´t see nothin yet.. all Teams are deep in the mud with their package and need a lot of luck to see the flag without major Performance issues or even dnfs.

So basically we have seen Williams with a car going like a Train and maybe Force India close .Mercedes GP has a good few tenths in Speed Advantage which may or may not translate into better reliability if they are able to Nurse their car a tiny bit more.

no way we will see a 100% reliability campaign from any Team this year....good for RB as they will only come into the equation later this year- Seb has had so much luck in hie career so far .One day this will normalize no question ...

Last year I compared the best testing times with the qualyfication times one year earlies, and Williams was the only team that was slower, this year it is the only year to be faster:

team............qualy.............testing..........difirence
McLaren.....1:33.702........1:34.910........+1.208
Williams.....1:34.105........1:33.258........-0.847
Ferrari.......1:32.667........1:34.280........+1.613
Lotus.........1:33.146........1:38.707........+5.561
Sauber.......1:33.976........1:36.467........+2.491
Mercedes....1:32.330........1:33.278........+0.948
RedBull.......1:32.584........1:35.743........+3.159
FI............1:33.235........1:35.290........+2.055
STR..........1:33.974........1:35.701........+1.727
Caterham...1:35.283........1:38.083........+2.800
Marussia...1:36.178.........1:36.835........+0.657

I think i got it right, if not, Iapologise :)

I know it meens nothing, but it is one way to make sense in testing

I like that a lot as a quick and dirty way of looking at things. There's some obvious outliers, but the general pattern seems solid.

I think we can have reasonable confidence (for all that you can have any confidence at all after testing) that Williams have improved significantly, Mercedes are up there, McLaren and Ferrari might not be far behind.

There are some additional questions marks up in the air regarding:
1. Had they did those Qualy laps with or without DRS on?
2. How long is here the DRS zone compared to last year?

Williams-Mercedes are the 2014 Pre-season Champions. Incredibly, Massa and Bottas have logged over 400 km in testing.

Just noticed that the Force-India duo also managed 400km. 8) The Williams Fw36 appears to be the biggest surprise. Massa is already talking podiums. The team that is in complete darkness sadly is Lotus. Tha dracula fanged car is paying dearly for the missed Jerez test. Frankly in my opinion this preseason testing wasn't long enough for such dramatic technical changes.
