I guess it's good to have the practice sessions behind and the first race of the season approaching, but it sure seems like it's going to be at least a couple of races into the year before most of the teams have a decent chance of finishing the race.

So many issues with the new "Formula" - Engines, Fuel, Aero, and everything.

Hoping that Australia comes off as a legitimate race rather than a case where one or two teams manage to survive to the end.

Since everyone is making predictions...

1 - Mercedes
2 - Williams
3 - Red Bull???
4 - Ferrari
5 - McLaren
6 - Force India
7 - Sauber
8 - Toro Rosso
9 - Lotus
10 - Marussia
11 - Caterham

That's for Melbourne qualifying. As for the race, well, let's just say it will be tough for the Renaults...

I understand it was 1 tenth better, but the mid sector was 3 tenths worse.

How used? I thought Williams-Merc were on comparable tyres. No point in testing supersofts anyway, tyre choices announced:

- medium-hard for Malaysia
- soft-medium for the rest.

Australia, Bahrain and China are similar these days :wtf:, I didn't know that. New schedule is confusing: Bahrain before China, Austria before GB.

I'm confused, I've seen most sites report he was on the super soft tyre, and a few have said soft, was it definitely the soft tyre?

If only there was a comprehensive source for the testing coverage.
