aerodynamic analysis of the rear wing(3D model) of an f1 car

Post

dear sirs
i am an engineering student. As per the current curriculum projects, i am interested in doing the projects related to the
"aerodynamic analysis of the rear wing(3D model) of an f1 car" using the ansys and the solid works software.
so,I hereby request u people to help me in doing the same
by giving some necessary suggestions and related articals and also some of the reseach papers.
if u can help me in getting the free demo softwares regarding the multi element aerofoil designs.
thanx in advance.....

In other words you want us to do your project for you

There are loads of stuff about rear wings and CFD on the internet, atleast try to do something yourself...By calling us Sirs wont get you anything! atleast nothing from me...

what have you done so far so that you win our sympathy vote? Have you tried this site on its own? I am sure you will find about rear wings here as well.

Good luck.

Why do you want to use static tools (FEM and CAD) for a dynamic problem?

You need to do your own work. You want us to find research articles, papers, and the software to do your project? What exactly does that leave you to do?

No, I'm away from school for 2 weeks and don't have a working copy of Gambit with me. Or any CAD for that matter. :( I'll see what I can do next quarter, though I have to finish my thesis as well!

Not meaning to be racist or anything, but i'm not surprised an Indian is asking for this... (obviously i don't mean all Indians need to be fed info)

Perhaps your intent is not racist - but citing a specific nationality certainly is. To your credit bizadfar - you acknowledge racism and acknowledge a personal resistance to it - although pre-judging this individual. Personally we both deplore scholastic lack of ethics- many of the posts on this thread also deplore this character flaw. Unfortunately it is not confinded to a single individual - or a single nationality - it seems a universal problem of educational systems - perhaps we must accept that human nature is flawed - not a specific nationality. I am sure that in some instances I pre-judge individuals and unconsciously different groups of people - please bring this to my attention if you should notice this in any of my posts. Recently I felt a scholastic shortcut was taken by a new forum member. I to sometimes pre-judge. I was mistaken and gently acknowledged my failing in a second post. We do what we can. We are who we are. We seek improvement. I too have failings.

And by that,if you mean you have a lopsided view of Indians or their capabilities,or that you have a fetish for assessing a particluar class of people based upon preconceived and erroneous notions, then I regret the sad state your faculty of reasoning is in.

seriously dude, if you wanna learn anything, first hit the library at your school and find stuff there. use this website to broaden your knowledge with the latest info and then hit the lab and get your own work done. you do in fact make it sound as if you want other users to do the work for you. that is ridiculous!

We'll probably never see you again, but since nobody seems to be helping you...

I'll build you an F1 car. I'll do all the CFD and testing by myself. For free!
