Ah ok...well that's interesting, then.
By pure intuition, i'd say that they energize the flow over the pods to keep it nicely attached, thus creating lift. However this lift would be compensated by the rear wing complex, which would receive a "better" airflow (=cleaner streams, greater angulation-->greater AoA,...). Is this the way they work? Let's find out...
I'll test them on my model as soon as i get the time.

Def. gonna have to have a look at the bardge boards, disappointed with my results

in fact I think my splitter/floor sent me down the wrong path and hence i didn't improve, actually went backwards. I think i thought that i could make it work with other changed but actually i took two steps back and only took 1 step forward with my diffuser.

That is the only think that was an improvement i think based on the fact i reduced the rear wing as well and still my cop moved rearward

still overhaul for the next race. I've used the first two races too work out what has been wrong. I've been too focused on drag, when i should be dumping on downforce then worrying about reducing drag.
