RBR has actually done an amazing job with the renault engine actually. No too long ago, we were still wondering if they could finish the race.

I guess Horner is also in on it.

It is pathetic how any time Webber had as much as an itch, he was lamented as the unluckiest driver in history, and every time Vettel has genuine problems [censored] with tinfoil hats come out of the woodworks to dismiss it.
Horner has ALWAYS made excuse for vettel, part of the reason i cant stand Horner is that he is an outright 2 faced liar (IMHO).

Pretty clear that Riccardo is a fast or faster than Vettel.

Can we now put a big * next to Vettel's 4 world titles and admit his dominance was down to car advantage? Being that he is getting outqualified by his teammate and struggles to make it to Q3?

Or are we still pretending he was actually 0.5 faster than the likes of Hamilton and Alonso on pure merit?

PS. See Hamilton today?.....That's called proper racing, no multi 21's, the driver made the difference

They were 3 seconds faster at points, although not everyone was on new tyres. However Lewis was on the hard tyre as well which he says was worth a further 0.6s. That Merc is incredibly fast, and I think they must be biasing the qualifying setup a little towards the race masking their pace a little in quali but giving them an easy time in the race.

It was early on he was complaining, and it can still be explained by his inability to harvest when under attack from others, something Daniel didnt have a problem with.

Good race - lots of awkward overtakes/attempts and some good ones, pity Rosberg is lukewarm. Don't get me wrong in a right car he would have been 4 times world champion but lukewarm he is.

Funny how not worthy of anything pay-driver Perez got podium for FI first time he had the chance and Hulkenberg still has none. Complaining on the radio was funny, Perez was simply better, difference between marketing/black marketing and reality.

In the Speed Trap 2 Vettel was down 14km/h on Ricciardo during Q3. Either he had a massive Setup difference to Ricciardo or he was down on power significantly. In any case I would be reluctant to draw too many conclusions on Driver Performance when the measurable data are differing so much.
In any case Ricciardo is doing an outstanding Job (since Day 1), especially when looking at where the rest of the Renault powered cars end up.

I don't know where you grew up, but I was taught that lying is actually very immature.
We can call it cultural differences if you think it's ok to defend lying, but I can't respect you for it.

In fairness a lot of champions were champion in the best car, but not all. The rules and tyres suited vettel, and he had the best car every time. This year they dont and he doesnt, and he isnt even close to winning.

So Mercedes was able to lap 2 seconds faster than the rest.
This really makes you wonder if all Mercedes team get the same power unit. :wtf:

One disappointing result that can be obtained from this race is that we have a more dominating team than we used to see in the last seasons.
