Come on, he had pace and don't forget strategy.ringo wrote: The funny thing is.. i don't think that's the case. Rosberg had the better car this weekend. And if Lewis wants to avoid having those barnstomer battles he needs to get on top of what Rosberg did this weekened.
Hamilton won on grit, intelligence, and raw skills this weekend. He didn't win on pace. And on the other side of the coin Nico should be worried as well. Because if you are faster than you teammate over a weekend car wise, and even tyre wise for the last stint, what the heck do you do when he gets everything right? How do you fight back for what 17 races?!!
The nose lifted the car partially from the ground, the hit from the tire while Guitterez was partially off the ground then caused the extreme flip-over.e30ernest wrote:Was there any on-board footage from Maldonado during the crash? Was it the wheel or the nose that caused the flip-over?
For you are bring unfair. Perez had a very good solid race and held his own against Hulk. You could tell in the PRI Hulk was well and truly gutted about not getting the podium. He tried to gain praise by suggesting he should be thanked for holding up the RB's/ (which he did)ChrisM40 wrote:For me Maldonado and Perez are cut from the same cloth (apart from the inherently dangerous nature of Maldonado). They are both pay drivers, but both can show moments of quality. Thats in contrast to say, Chilton, who is just sh**. Unfortunately they cant be relied upon.

That is the moment of impact. Notice both the front and rear are lifting off the ground at the same time. Eventually the rear mounts Maldonado's tire, but the initial impact was the small tusk under the chassis.
Nope, nose first and front left afterzonk wrote:No. It was the whellsGodius wrote:The nose lifted the car partially from the ground, the hit from the tire while Guitterez was partially off the ground caused the extreme flip-over.e30ernest wrote:Was there any on-board footage from Maldonado during the crash? I truly believe that fred already acknowledged inside himself some sort of lack at human-factor handling, so he's trying to keep high the moral of the team (even 5 laps before the checkered flag, when he was catching bottas, he shouted via team radio incitements to his engineer). This can be the only move to avoid a real and deserved moment of depression inside SFEmerson.F wrote: And Fred was crazy happy too cross the line before Kimi.
