2015: how much time is lost?

Post

Due to lower noses (bar, perhaps, Ferrari and Mercedes), lower front survival cell (so, lower chassis?), less complex front wing and the ban of interlinked suspensions, how much time do you think will be lost?

I would bet 0,5s for simpler front wing and 1s for the ban of interlinked suspensions

The most penalized team .. Mercedes!

Well Mercedes is known to have an effective system of interconnection, the so called FRIC, so banning that should reduce their performance a bit more than others

Having the car at the right height in most situations can be very effective for downforce

Front wing ... I bet, "simpler" front wing can't bee THAT bad but should reduce performance

We cannot seriously judge how much time will be lost, and we also don't know what team will have the biggest penalty. Our estimations are limited on speculation, until some technical director speaks out about it.

Indeed not. They are a bunch of proposals that come from the cost cutting meeting of last week. It's far from written in stone yet and will eventually have to get validated at a WMSC meeting.
