seems the reality is that fallows doesn't want to work under prod any more , so he signed up with big mac

so when they signed prod as well fallows didn't want to go there any more , wants to stay as red bull

so a compromise seems the likely outcome , the teams will end up with one each fairly soon , as both teams need good staff and they will both lose if the two are on gardening leave !
to the optimist a glass is half full ; to the pessimist a glass is half empty ; to the F1 engineer the glass is twice as big as it needs to be

According to Omnicorse, Torro Rosso took Phil Arniboldi, from Mercedes AMG Petronas F1. He will be Concept Designer.
He will serve the "gardening leave" and then he will start work for Torro Rosso. Another IT and electronic engineers from Mercedes were taken by Mclaren Group, but not for the racing team but for Mclaren Electronics Systems.

according to AUTOSPORT.com Tony Salter from Sauber and Guillaume Cattelani from Lotus will strengthen the aero department of McLaren.
Irvine:"If you don't have a good car you can't win it, unless you are Michael or Senna. Lots of guys won in Adrian Newey's cars, big deal. Adrian is the real genius out there, there is Senna, there is Michael and there is Newey. They were the three great talents."

Unofficially confirmed to me by Mclaren team member. Guillaume is former Peugeot Sport and Dallara engineer.

Dan Fallows row is settled between Mclaren and Red Bull with no money involved.

Apparently Tony Salter still works for Sauber (even the profile isn't updated or we have another Dan Fallows saga.)

I have found fresh news about when Promodrou will start work at Mclaren. According Ron Dennis's last comments, Peter will start to work for Mclaren in September 2014. Apparently that is the result of the agreement between Ron Dennis and Horner, about not going to court on Dan Fallows case and Red Bull lets Peter to come at Mclaren with 3 months in advance.

Great to hear that PP will join McLaren earlier. Of course it's too late to get him in for the Concept Phase of the 2015 Car but he can help on the Launch Spec a great Deal and even more give Full Input for the Spec that will show up at the First Race.

And another recruitment made by Mclaren. Richard Frith who comes as project leader vehicle performance. He comes from Marussia where as Head of Vehicle Performance with the resources and facilities that he had, he did a pretty good job when he was there (September 2012- May 2014). Marussia started to close the gap to Caterham from the end of 2012.
Even if he has Marussia in his CV, I still think it's a good engineer. Before that he worked for Sauber and Force India and in both cases he was the head of his department.

@Thunders, what do you think, from where comes all this money? From the begining of 2013 Mclaren is recruiting at a pace never seen in Red Bull and Mercedes when they were restructuring their teams... Honda, chinese investors in the group or the Bahrain shareholders?

I think mostly Honda. They REALLY want this thing to Work. I wouldn't be surprised if Alonso would be on the List of new team Members soon.
