He was going back to the paddock after his gearbox failure, waved to an X-games star/friend and lost concentration....apparently. (according to BBC R5)siskue2005 wrote:wow... that was closeradosav wrote:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s2Zx7Xz6u8M

I know, and I will make a new version tomorrow after Q3 (providing qualifying is dry). I don't expect them to close the gap though, two weeks ago in Spain the difference between the best time set in FP1 and the actual pole time was 1.8 seconds.Juzh wrote:Good effort but fp1 and q3 really can't be compared.
I know it's not an apples-to-apples comparison and they will probably be round 2 seconds faster tomorrow (difference between FP1 and pole time in Spain 2 weeks ago was 1.8 secs). About the tyres: they are part of the whole package and thereby of the speed potential of the cars.George-Jung wrote:Last but not least, Vettel was also running the super-soft tyre.. which was a lot softer than they are now.
Also it was very sunny, so better track-temp.. etc etc..
