Very interesting what's reported here:

translated: "Lewis Hamilton had failed to comply with the rules of the game at the Spanish GP . When it came down in the closing stages of the race to a duel between the two Mercedes drivers , Hamilton turned on the Überholmodus which releases more power over the MGU -H at the MGU -K.
Hamilton , however, had by the technicians do not have permission to do so. Rosberg stuck to the instructions of the command stand , fighting head to head with blunt weapons. Hamilton had to apologize to his colleagues after the race. Rosberg accepted."
If this is indeed true then it's pretty bad of Hamilton - almost similar to what Vettel did at Malaysia. Saying this, what I don't understand is why there would be an instruction for Hamilton to not use his full engine power when they're supposedly allowed to race? Is this why Mercedes have kept quiet on this issue as they're in-fact not allowing "true" racing and therefore if they came out and criticised Hamilton, then they themselves would also come under scrutiny. Ultimately, if you looked at the fuel usage of the last race, Hamilton saved a lot more fuel than Rosberg, so why couldn't he use that to his advantage at the end of the race and if he did turn up the setting then why couldn't Rosberg just do the same? If not then it's his own fault for using fuel. For Mercedes to say they both have to use a lesser engine mode at the end of the race when they know Rosberg will likely be behind on an alternate strategy (on better tyres) is a little suspect to me, maybe this is why Hamilton ignored it? hmmm...
