Didn't he get 5 sec stop and go for doing his first penalty during the SC? (Bit confused)
Supposedly added after the race, but he was over 10 seconds ahead

Yes he did - he got 5 seconds added to his time at the end (you can choose not to do it on track, and have it added instead).

Alternatively... at Monaco, you need a 3-4 seconds a lap advantage at monaco to stand any chance of getting by. Always has been that way, always will be.
Yeah, but only top 4 cars are in the same lap. Of course there were misfortunes for many strong cars but non the less it's been a while since there were results like that.

God you could cut the tension with a knife between ROS and HAM on the podium.. Even Nico's celebration seemed a bit muted..

I blame the press for bringing this to a head.

I think Nico used all his celebrations up yesterday after he got pole.

- gaps to Alonso - Hulkenberg depressing
- another poor start by Ricciardo
- Sutil crashed on purpose, trust me, I could tell by his wheel turning left and right
- Raikkonen, how was that not causing a collision? Replace him with Maldo = certain 10 places grid penalty
- interesting penalty for Bianchi, was it for grid position? I remember FIA ignoring that several times: with Massa and Webber but then again they were driving for Red Bull and Ferrari not Marussia
- Monaco is a bit of a joke race, Bianchi in points

Lewis very lucky in the end to keep 2nd.
I so wish we could have seen what would have happened if there hadnt been a safety car. Hamilton was really pushing Rosberg who had 2 lock-ups, and i'm not sure the first pitter zwould have had an advantage since the prime tyre needs longer to heat up. I reckon it could have been extremely close for lead. Too bad the safety car killed that off. We've effectively had the same race like last year when a safety car mid race was used to pit the cars for free. Meh.

Otherwise, i still really like Monaco. Feel gutted for Kimi. He deserved that top 4 spot after such a brilliant first stint. Pitty.
Not for nothing, Rosberg's Championship is the only thing that lends credibility to Hamilton's recent success. Otherwise, he'd just be the guy who's had the best car. — bhall II

Congratz to Bianchi. His final position, with the 5s added, will be 9th =D> .

How about after the hairpin incident with Magnussen?

He'll get a penalty for that I'm sure.

It was a bit of bad luck. He basically would have got the position, only problem was his front lifted so he couldnt turn in and went straight. If that hadn't happened, it would have been a move executed like Sutil demonstrated a couple of times in this very race.

Cant blame his frustration either. He was ahead of Alonso for two races but ended up behind.

Kimi deserved a podium, to be the sixth driver to finish 3rd in six races. Gutted is not the word. Well done to Bianchi!!!! =D>

I don't think he will, he was so fast and running 3rd only to be ruined by a back marker trying to inlay himself
Was really gutted ...or else he would have been on the podium

This battle is getting very intense, Mercedes in my opinion are truly backing Rosberg more!
