His record here is basically win or dnf, so not that surprising sadly. I think he can pull off a Vettelesque dominant streak to end the season, so am not too concerned. He prefers being the hunter and he's come back from a bigger deficit already this year.

There's no way Hamilton wouldn't have passed Ros had Ros tried to make the chicane. Taking 4 wheels off track gave him a clear advantage. So much so, that he returned more than a second ahead of Hamilton so Ham couldn't even use his DRS.

He should have given the position back as Hamilton did later. Had Rosberg had to push to catch Hamilton instead of the reverse, Hamilton might have been the one able to save his brakes, not Rosberg.

something didnt seem right about the Merc drop off....did anyone see Bernie pressing a button in pit lane?

Well done RIC :D

the fanboy in me is laughing at the demise of Perez after he held up everyone for so bloody long. I think he moved into Massa's path too

- pity for Perez - great race by useless pay-driver, I thought it was Massa's fault, why so close when you can't control a car? I didn't think SP was defending late, he was avoiding Vettel and had slower (different braking point) car

- bunch of awkward drivers in too good for them cars, lap after lap they couldn't touch Perez with all his problems (or each other), mediocrity after mistake, thankfully Red Bull has crazy traction, during Ricciardo's awkward overtake - saved his a.... and Perez had no brakes/tyres to counter (or whatever it was)

Good win by Riciardo. =D>

I was hoping for a retirement for rosberg, he's starting to show his true colours. Hamilton owned him during this race, all race long. Shame Lewis' car broke, and even after sliding off with problems, he gave back the position.

As for the guy who says Rosgerg is the faster driver, you got your answer today.

Anyway boring race thanks to Perez, but i liked the overtakes by the redbulls and also the other cars. Massa proved again why he's not a #1 driver. Not because of the crash, but because of his failure to get vettel.
If perez was not where he was with 20 laps left, we would have been looking on a redbull 1-2 with Massa on the podium. Perez made these on of the most annoying races ive eve watched.
For Sure!!

This is why, as posted in another thread, some of us feel that the best 17 out of 20 races should make up the championship. So far the only reason why Lewis is not first is because of mechanical problems with his car.

My guess: Vettel won't like it that Ricci beat him to Red Bull's first win. Especially since Ricci had to pass Vettel to do it.

Question re Lewis, did he have to retire? Or did he not give it long enough and it may have come back to him like it did for Rosberg?

You may not be too concerned, but I guarentee Lewis is.

I think Massa would have flew by Vettel if the Williams had some longer gears

Thanks for that, what's he having for tea as you know him so intricately?

To be fair Rosberg had the same problem as Hami, but he seemingly managed it better.

His brakes were on fire – he needed to retire.
