he was ~2/10 on average slower than ric troughout q3 and q2. Nothing massive (alo on average 5/10 faster than rai overall), but enough to get kicked out in such a tight pack on a short track. Still I see it as a failure on vettel's part. He just seems resigned to his fate, seemingly not even bothered too much as if he's already given up the fight. It might be he knew last year what was coming and hence his comments he's got nothing more to prove to anybody and to enjoy the success while it lasts.
