This is as bad a part and manufacturing technique as I've ever seen for being prone to porosity buildup in the female radii, even if they're being tricky with the tooling inserts for the hollows. They either scrap the wheel or have extra material in the corners to compensate for the porosity. Every single wheel must be inspected by NDT for porosity and delams, which is not easy in that shape.
cf cannot be Held responsible for bad design .There are things you should avoid especially when it Comes to using cf for structural parts.Substituting Aluminium for cf and leave the design as if it were a forged or cast part which will be finished by a machining process is just one of those things ...
Yes the end product is nice ,no question but you could have done yourself a favour and design the part to the strengths of the carbonfibre not trying to do things it is not intended for (tight radii ,for example)
