Looks a bit weird, but nice rim design. I think maybe 15 inches would be a nice transition first.

Given the pairing with a current brake duct, it looks a bit like a wagon wheel.

Bigger Brakes would be needed for sure.

Edit: The Angle of the Picture is of Course the worst in that regard, it looks better in that shot....

I think with these tires, the feeling of bumps on the track surface will be increased.

Of course the Tires themselves would be very much less effective as an extended suspension member than with the 13 Inch Wheels but that's up for the Suspension Gurus to fix.

Now all we need is active suspension to make it's return and Michelin tires!

My thoughts exactly. First impression was: "Damn it, I've already seen such pattern on the Cadillac Escalades driven by rap stars", but it really looks great couple of seconds later.

Moreover, this would mean re-engineering parts of the suspensions.

Reason?

Another cost-cutting solution - everyone will be spending re-designing everything for new tyres, being forced to save on other areas and falling further behind.

Teams are redisigning their Front suspensions every Year anyhow. The only change now would be that they don't have that much experience with the Larger Wheels.

Looks like Hamilton spun early on the session in the gravel trap. He hasn't set a time yet. Must be a problem I think.
