Sooooo... McLaren say they won't be racing with Fric in Germany, and there are rumors some other teams -including Merc.- ran without Fric in the Silverstone test.

That's it for Fric then ?

Yep that's the fric story for now. Mercedes will suffer the most. They build the car around the fric and the other teams build the fric around the car. Hope you guys understand what i mean.

Remember when everybody started to build a EBD? It gave them some advantage but not near as much RBR. They builded the car around it.

Or 'technically correct' either?
Karl Marx understood the state to be an instrument of the class rule, dominated by the interests of the ruling class in any mode of production. Although Marx never referred to a "socialist state", he argued that the working-class would have to take control of the state apparatus and machinery of government in order to transition out of capitalism and to socialism.
FOM and FiA are about as far away from socialism as one can get. So in this example, the teams should wrestle control from the FiA to control F1. Then, F1 becomes socialist. Until then, F1 remains what is and has been for some time.
Dictatorship is a form of government where political authority is often monopolized by a single person or a political party, and exercised through various oppressive mechanisms.

Lol, the Americans do love to cry "socialism" when what they are really arguing for is extreme libertarianism. :)

Stooge protester could be Caterham (AMuS http://translate.google.com/translate?h ... 65476.html). We only take action if someone protests - here we go there's a team. In Silverstone this role was played by HRT. Who are new owners again (or maybe who was at HRT at the time?). No, these are not "conspiracies" - it's F1's cheap politics. Mid-season change because of HRT/Caterham again, how can you not laugh and their repeated, cheap tricks, as if cost-cutting excuse wasn't funny enough.

I wonder if Merc may still run it, convinced that their system is legal. If they fail and it's deemed illegal, they only lose hypothetically 43 points (WCC). If they win, the system will remain legal till the end of the year. Since they are the team with the most to lose, they might find the trade-off worth it if it means they can keep running it. Unless they know it's illegal under the clarifyed interpretation and/or they know they have a big enough advantage without it.

If they run it: bad for whoever wins this race-weekend if they are then disqualifyed (WDC).
If they don't run it: it'll be very interesting to see what the gap is to the rest of the field...

Too bad I won't be around to watch it. :(
