Now back to my steering wheel !

More updates on assembling the "pieces of the big puzzle" ...i've done the rear shell & handle(s) support bracket as well as a what will be a molded plastic sealant or gasket (haven't decided yet) in between the front & rear shell covers...it's not perfect yet...but it's coming together like i want.

Rear Shell added & modified the support bracket...overall, the concept is taking shape.
Not very pretty to look at for now, but i am pleased with it...now the tweaking begins to make sure all the parts can be manufactured first & they all fit together "snug"...more updates to come !

I made some revisions regarding how the main frame assembly & handles will fit together solid, simply by designing them in way they could be secured solid by adding 5 screws. I am done with that !

Now moving on to fixing the front & rear shell housings and the gasket.

I have completed the hard part, which was fine tuning the outer shells & the overall look...it's taking shape nicely... lots of work to be done for sure ( push buttons, rotary encoders...gear levers...etc..)

Yes, the whole car will happen...i started other sections of it already...after i'm done with the wheel completely the rest of it will follow.

OK...finally my steering wheel is complete...i'm quite pleased with the outcome ! in the next few days or weeks, i will order the necessary parts that (encoders...push buttons etc...) will make this thing work...once i have all the parts i need...then its manufacturing time !

Now onto bigger things, (the most important one to me)...not the cockpit, but the under body assembly where everything will sit on & derive from...i shall keep you posted !

I am still in design mode for the front and rear underbody assembly & pedals in that order...although time consuming...the final result will be very nice...I will add pics once completed !
