BTW, anyone notice the 3 element, wing profiled strake in the diffuser?

To me, it looks strikingly different from the Merc or RBR approaches (even if the detail is hard to pick out in this pic)

Note that the left front wing is the newer one, and the right one is an older model. Difirent endplates, and the new one has a longer gerney on the top element.

Interesting... are they racing these? Massa mentioned that he had "a different car" to his teammate, and that he was running an older floor.

Well, it is not a new wing, but newer than the right one. They are racing the newer one since Spain I think, but during FPs they test the older one as well.

Supposedly the paint this weekend is a flat finish, though I can't really tell. I know Ducati runs a matte livery on their GP bikes, is there an advantage to running a flat finish paint to the typical glossy finish?

I can't imagine they would, its simply extra drag...
