Well the pic above matches up up with this one:
http://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2014/10/ ... R_05_J.jpg

The cut-picture is that one:

Those pictures don't seem to match. There are those where the wreck is already getting loaded on a truck and you can see the airbox partially intact whereas on others where the car is near the tractor the whole airbox is gone.
It seems like the pictures are from two different accidents almost...

Only thing I can think of is that the airbox cover was ripped off completely and was kind-of placed back when the car was towed off. The picture of the doctor trying to communicate with him must have been seconds after impact, as there are not many people around. No 'jaws of life' theory possible in that case.

Just seen the BBC coverage, totally clueless about the Bianchi accident.

The SC and MediCar were scrambled 45 seconds after the accident. The doctor was with him more than 3 minutes after the accident.

RTL was also speculating about Sutil being injured or maybe a stewart, only shortly before the podium ceremony they realized what had happened.

What picture shows the car with a complete roll hoop and airbox? I will tell you if it is a picture of the correct accident. You have probably looked at a picture from a previous accident.

Time they stopped using mobile cranes at circuits and use only winches from a safe distance. Could damage a car a bit but much safer for all.

Canada last year was another incident with a mobile crane.

Jano. Go complain to JT. The Fia obviously need to be informed they are employing a chimp.

They might have placed the engine cover where it belongs, in the other pics it lies behind the car

Sky seemed to know pretty quickly, the FOM director certainly knew because they kept showing Marussias reaction.

Yep it was like they were trying to give the clueless BBC commentators a hint.

To be fair I didn't even understand either, but only cause coil that'd and co. Kept talking about their concerns for suits, oblivious to the fact that Bianchi had magically disappeared from the timing screen.
