Look at that scenery. This was at Burneville corner (which means Ballsack city), clearly a corner for men!

Chris Amon described what it was like to drive this section in the 1970 Belgian Grand Prix to author Ted Simon in “The Chequered Year”. “… Now we’re over the hill and coming down towards a sharp right-hand curve. ‘This is the unbelievable corner. You come down here pulling nine-two or nine-three in fifth and you go in here flat, absolutely flat.” Nine-three in fifth gear was 180mph. “Then about here, Amon said referring to the apex, you just go – unnh- and then straight back in it, so you’re actually exiting at about 170 mph.”

That corner is amazing. Herman Tilke must have been given a massive budget for grading and landscaping! And the authentic Belgian-style farmhouses too!
