Now Hamilton can come second in the last two races and still win by three points.

Also, insane overtake by Vergne, not bad for a number 2.

Just about to post that.

Assume double points applies to the whole grid not just P1? Lol

But yer, finish second in the last two. Win them both would be better mind ;)

I think Vettel proved that 2 stop strategy was slower than 3 stops... or 5 :p
I wish more people would have gone with 3 stops and less cruising to save tires.

Also where's Vergne's deserved penalty? He crashed into another car.

so Maldonado secured a point by - contrary to Grosjean in 11th - not getting lapped, interesting didn't know it was possible to nullify the 5 seconds penalty that way

but anyway, suprisingly strong race by the Lotus, although Grosjean seemed to be more off track than on it (in the penultimate corner at least)

I think it's official Nico's been going for Saturday glory for some time now...

It hasn't really mattered what they did on a Saturday almost all year, they know a decent lap in that car will put them 1st and 2nd.

Perhaps he means "a 1 point advantage" in either of the last 2 races?

The one we've had since a couple of seasons sans the double points finale? ...
Not for nothing, Rosberg's Championship is the only thing that lends credibility to Hamilton's recent success. Otherwise, he'd just be the guy who's had the best car. — bhall II

ah, yeh, a 1 point advantage it is I guess

1 point at all would only be enough with Rosberg not scoring points in one of the final two races

Esteban should just do something totally different not good enough for F1. Should look at Indycar or WEC, waste of a F1 seat.

Hamilton had no business wining this race! But my God, he stuck in there and applied the pressure - and the west was won.
