That's one of the things in the back of my mind. Hitting back markers.
If the weather is clear and the tires aren't being chewed up like warm gum then it could be likely to see the top 3 cars able to lap vehicles up to 6th place?

There is an inherent fear though, if we have yet another fierce battle pack in the midfield like we had in Austin then we may yet see fireworks...hopefully the blue flags work this time :?
If someone said to me that you can have three wishes, my first would have been to get into racing, my second to be in Formula 1, my third to drive for Ferrari.

Some people seem to be too relaxed about Lewis chances for this sunday and the WC. But its Brazil and its going to rain, with some expected chaos and safety cars I don't see so clear that they will get a 1-2. Yes, they have the best car and under normal conditions they would easly get a 1-2 but Brazil always brings some chaos so one of the two could not end the race and we could also have a surprising winner.

Lets hope that Withing doesn't ruin the race with his super cautious attitude.

I'm taking nothing for granted until the flag drops in Abu Dhabi.

I seriously hope Ham can take the WDC.
The battle staying on reliability is worse like a ticking time bomb and with Yas Abu Double its almost a heart attack single incident can change alot there

on second thought that change to last corner might make it a bit tricky to take it flat out

What's sad about that? You enjoyed cars at racing speed crossing over the entrance to the pit lane on a blind turn?

Do we know if they'll take that chicane at full speed when entering the pits? Maybe even accelerate out of it? I like technical pit lanes... give the drivers another challenge.

As I recall there was a fatality at that corner in another series last year, I suspect that's why it has been remodelled?

I hope it won't affect the tow when cars try to overtake.

look there. they have made the pit lane more infield slightly (hence the kink) where the red barrier ends it would usually continue straight towards the entrance. now it bends infield and opens up the entrance

Yup, especially since it will likely rain at some point.

Oh Yes. Redbull are a big threat on this track. The mercs will need to turn up the krakens to keep them at bay. The consequence is that someones engine is gonna blow... I hope it is not Lewis'.
Listening to the dedicated team radio channel, it seemed they ran quali mode pretty much trough the whole last stint, so I don't think engine reliability is a major concern.
