Show me a race in the last 5 years that even compares to Bahrain 2014 GP.

please dude. How about bahrain 2012 and 2013? China 2011, brazil 2012, usa 2012, canada 2011, silverstone 2013, belgium 2011, There were a bunch.
Bahrain 2014 was fine, but far from the best.

haha none of them even comes close.
But maybe the essence of what racing is all about is not what you are looking for in a race.

Nico was having troubles and they decided early to 'down' the power on the Mercedes of Lewis to prevent a repeatance of a similar occasion earlier in the year. The tension inside the cockpit surely had lewis decide for himself that he'd rather drive a less-powered car then to end up having no drive at all.

What Hamilton said seemed like trying to revoke ongoing team's actions thru external software manipulation of his race car's on-board system via communications from the pits, which forever was illegal and as far as I know still is.

Lewis has passed Alonso in most wins table, Next year he will pass Seb.

Six more wins to catch Vettel(39 victories) and eight wins to equal Senna(41). It could happen if the Mercedes stays the dominant car, but i hope that Red Bull and Ferrari are closer than this season. Would make some interesting racing at the front.

Has anyone seen Perez' leaving the track in the first corners? He wasn't on screen all the time but taking Hulkenberg at P9 as a reference, behind whom he came on track again (arguably and unwillingly pushing Gutierrez into Magnussen), it looked like he gained some 4-5 places in the process. Sadly the german commentators did not notice and there was no real replay of it.
(Well.. the german commentators also said that it was Hulkenberg who hit Magnussen right after the Sauber hitting M. was on screen, so what they see or not is another story on RTL^^)

Anyways: Congratz to Mr. Hamilton and very gentlemanly played by Rosberg!

Exciting season, never knew who was going to take the drivers title all season. Lewis now the only driver on the grid to win a championship in different teams.

Hamilton vs. Rosberg in Bahrain was the best duel since Villeneuve and Arnoux in Dijon '79 imo.
