And am I seeing a Ferrari 'V' intercooler and some parts of the 2014 turbo air-box in these pics?
Why do this car have 2014 internals? wont Ferrari adopt a split turbo PU in 2015?
Why do this wind tunnel model have those kind of internals at all?

I wouldn't say they are bargains. There's nothing in them, just shells probably made of lifed parts. Everything is stripped from them except bodywork and things that make them roll. Everything went for stupid money today. Don't forget that £15k on that nose doesn't include premium or VAT so the buyer paid nearly £20k for that nose. Unless it's a child bored at school...Facts Only wrote:Also Lots 250-254 are about to start. They are the show cars from around the building.
Edit:
Lobby show car sold for £54k
Somebody just got a major bargain, Lot 252, rolling car sold for £21K and 253 another show car for £21K
So what? Who has opportunity to say to girl "lets go look inside to look my F1 car nosecone". LOLandylaurence wrote:I wouldn't say they are bargains. Yeah the nose was ridiculous, I bet (if it was a real bid) the winner kicked themselves when they saw an entire car go for £21kandylaurence wrote:I wouldn't say they are bargains. Vary wrote:What was the winning bid for the 2015 windtunnel model?
I wouldn't be surprised if it was reasonably high, and bought by another F1 team. Caterham and Sauber would certainly like to get a look at how their aero details are working I'm sure. It would probably still be interesting to teams higher up the grid too.Vary wrote:What was the winning bid for the 2015 windtunnel model?
Rich fools with money to burn! They know not one thing about machinery, they just wanna buy stuff! haha idiots.Facts Only wrote:People are literally losing their minds on the auction today, for example lot 2080 (pillar drill) sold for £350 (so £462 total with Buyer Premium and VAT), you can buy the exact drill brand new all in from Machine Mart for £260! Quite insane.
