thats all it is....speculation! audi, vw and porsche have categorically denied that they are considering f1.sauberfan wrote:There are ongoing speculations that AUDI wants to join f1. AUDI is already using Sauber's windtunnel. Maybe they gonna buy the team?
Yes, but unfortunately I think that they will bring an underdeveloped car.sauberfan wrote:Good news! =D>
Even if this can not clarify the financial situation. I still think that this is now happening "according to the plan" and therefore these articles are hopefully just false rumours!
Well i would like it. it would also be great for ericson as it are the colours of his national flag.f1motta wrote:Sauber with yellow and blue livery in 2015?

I hope he brings that much.stefan_ wrote:Nasr has to bring a s**t load of money if they are changing the livery for his sponsor.
Sauber has lost most (or all of their mexican sponsors) to Force India. They also lost NEC. Sauber is a team in need of cash. They have 5 big sponsors: Banco do Brasil, Emil Frey, Oerlikon, Chelsea and Certina. Banco do Brasil is they new title sponsor, so they have to change there livery. But Sauber has changed livery a lot during the years. Banco do Brasil is bringing 24m dollar to Sauber, so i think Sauber will happily change their livery for them . Ericsson is bringing around 18m dollar to Sauber. So 2 drivers that bring 42m dollar to the team. Its an incredible amount of sponsorship money for the two average drivers.stefan_ wrote:Nasr has to bring a s**t load of money if they are changing the livery for his sponsor.

Sauber set for blue and yellow livery - report
Sauber looks set to swap its white and grey livery for prominent blue and yellow for the 2015 season.
That is the claim of the Portuguese-language publication Universo, claiming the Swiss team's colour choice is in deference to new driver Felipe Nasr's major backer Banco do Brasil.
Last year, 22-year-old rookie Brazilian and former Williams reserve Nasr finished the GP2 season in third place with the striking blue and yellow Banco do Brasil-branded Carlin car.
Universo also reported a tale of mere survival for Sauber over the winter, having momentarily stopped developing the new C34 car due to running out of funds.
In 2015, Nasr's teammate will be the similarly well-backed Marcus Ericsson, who switches from the ailing backmarker Caterham.
The publication said the delayed development, with Sauber only receiving its new 2015 engines from Ferrari on Saturday, could mean the team has to sit out the first winter test at Jerez.
Sauber has also not announced a launch date for the C34, but when contacted, the Hinwil based team told Universo that it is "working to have the car ready for the first test in Jerez".
As for the money issue, Sauber insisted the team "does not discuss financial matters in public".
Swede Ericsson, meanwhile, was quoted by Speed Week: "The team had a disappointing 2014, no doubt, but everyone is eager to fight back and show everyone that they can do a good job."
