Mercedes attempted to do this last year, as was shown with the launch spec car. Unfortunately it appears that the W05 required more cooling, so the ears beside the airbox were introduced and the size of the engine cover increased. Hopefully it has been sorted for 2015.kooleracer wrote:So, that means the packaging got even better the fin is there to meet regulations. Also only the airbox no more extra inlets at the roll hoop. There is a lot of more space left compared to the W05. The space between the engine cover and the rear wing is much bigger. Well done Mercedes =D> .MercAMGF1Fans wrote:The Engine cover fin looks a bit bigger too!

That is not the W05 launch nose, it is definitely new for 2015. Also the 2014 launch spec nose does not conform to the 2015 tech regs.GPR-A wrote:If this indeed is W06, it appears to have the W05 launch nose and MIGHTY RAKE.

No, it is a monkey throne, the same one that was used later in 2014.Shakeman wrote:The monkey seat looks enormous in this image. But is it a money seat at all?PABLOEING wrote:https://pbs.twimg.com/media/B8hxQddCEAA6UW_.jpg
