11:38 Alonso completed his last lap so is somewhere in sector one... the computer locates him at Turn 4.

It seems the McLaren went into the inside wall on the run between Turns 3 and 4.

11:50 The circuit's official feed reports that Alonso has crashed the McLaren. He's done so at a point out of camera sight.

12:06 Alonso has been brought back to the medical centre in the ambulance.

12:06 The circuit data feed says Alonso lost control on the way out of Turn 3 and went across the track into the inside wall.

Apparently Alonso felt dizzy according to Cristobal Rosaleny, that was what I though first.

Sounds like some kind of seizure, maybe that was the reason for the crash. Lets wait and see. [-o<

While reading in some F1 group in facebook, apparently there was no crash. He pulled aside and complained of feeling ill hence the release of the medical car. Hope all is well with Fernando. Not sure if this is true.
