He did hit a concrete wall, that's why.
He turned in to wall at 150 km/h so that should not have triggered it.
He triggered it during 2013 Abu Dhabi race while he was overtaking Vergne and ran over kerbs, it was 25G.
Also if he felt dizzy or blacked out in the middle of the corner he couldn`t prepare for the impact with the wall.

I can't believe it either. The car goes to the interior of the curve, running parallel to the wall quite some distance. How is possible to suffer strong G-Force there? The way things are looking, I tend to believe it has to be something related to electric discharge.

If he was feeling ill before running, that explains why Button would run with the car in the evening don't you think?

Thanks genius. Look at the angle and the state of the car, unsupportive of a high-G impact.

I really don't understand why the professional sportsman, especially F1 driver driving the car when he doesn't feel well. That is so dangerous for him as well for others.

Any info about the McL damages? Will they manage to get back on the track?

Its pretty weird. Perhaps he thought he was ok to drive, and they he suddenly felt sick and because of this happened the accident. Alonso is a very experienced drive I can imagine him driving if he is not ready.

they say the damage wasn't too big, so jb might get a few laps in before the chequered flag.

Yes and no. Remember BUT has no laps in morning session. So they want gave both drivers same distance in the new car.

From skysports live feed:
15:02 Antonio Boselli of Sky Italia - who you might have seen joining our very own Ted Kravitz for the Day Two edition of Ted's Notebook - has tweeted 'Alonso went out at turn 4 very slowly, apparently he fainted in the car'.
We should stress, however, that this is just speculation at the moment and there's been no word from the team as to the cause of Fernando's crash.
