Force India VJM08 Mercedes

A place to discuss the characteristics of the cars in Formula One, both current as well as historical. Laptimes, driver worshipping and team chatter do not belong here.

Also the driver's head protection looks pretty low. Might just be the angle or that HULK is quite high in the cockpit.
I guess that many teams (Williams, Toro Rosso, McLaren, Ferrari, Sauber) use the maximum width of 330mm.
Only the noses of Lotus and Mercedes seem to be smaller.

IMO the livery is great, a real headturner.

Wow, this car is a bit of a mix-and-match from Mercedes and RB. Mercedes-like front wing and suspension, RB-like ducted nose. Wonder what else they'll incorporate as time goes on.

That looks like a solid 'not bad' from Scarbs... Good enough for me. The 'copied' details from other cars hopefully all play nice together.

That can be a huge omission. The I get that steering wheels are expensive but if they don't get one once the season starts, it is a real handicap.
