Formula 1 Aerodynamics

So hello,

Im writing a capstone paper and my thesis is "The truth of the matter is that aerodynamics is the reason F1 cars win championships because " and I need three points to back up my thesis. I've got one which is create a downforce but I still need 2 more. Can anyone help me please?

not sure i can help much but perhaps you could explain drag vs downforce?
-mechanical grip
-consistent downforce rather than peak downforce
-how aerodynamic parts on an f1 car need to work in harmony with eachother, rather than creating the most downforce they can but then wrecking the air up for the other bodywork to use
