Perhaps he means that he expected them start at the position the other teams were at last year for this year but as their packaging is equally as neat as the best teams this year they have in effect leap frogged that first year of more ungainly concepts and jumped straight to this year's tech, albeit less reliably.Richard wrote:Swings & roundabouts. They do? I read the Ferrari gained about 80hp and the Renault about 30hp. Was the Renault that close to last year's Mercedes? Tyres are faster and different track conditions... Different chassis.. nearly everything is different.
