Honda Power Unit Hardware & Software

All that has to do with the power train, gearbox, clutch, fuels and lubricants, etc. Generally the mechanical side of Formula One.

The specification is the same, hence the model number is the same. It's just there's two of them.

The numbers are of course the car numbers for Alonso (14) and Buton (22).

Looks like they couldn't afford a PU with integrated social media for the reserve driver (Magnussen 20) .

It is interesting that the driver is said to be "behind" the PU. A front engined McLaren?

They put 2MJ because that it was they are limited to collecting per a lap.

Only through braking. That would make their ERS-H quite useless. Still, its just a joke. Would be surprising if they gave actual performance-figures.

Would have been a laugh if they had said 10 MJ

2 MJ sounds more like reality or a Hamilton tweet

True to be more accurate I should have said that is the ammount they are allowed to store each lap. There is no limit on the ammount going straight from MGU H to MGU K.

160hp is the max from the MGU-K and hence the theoritcal max from MGUH to MGUK.

He means energy transfer, not power output.
