He can't give you track position. He would need accurate speed measurements for that. A track map would be good for now.

Nothing is crystal clear in the telemetry...... if you don´t see driver suddenly turned the wheel with no reason, or if you don´t see a drop in downforce, or if you don´t see battery voltage suddenly dropped, or if you don´t see driver suddenly stopped making any input.... There can be tons of facts wich would be crystal clear just watching the correct data in the telemetry
No, nothing is ever crystal clear because car behaviour is not a one dimensional thing. 50% of the problem is finding out if the strange things you see are the CAUSE or EFFECT of the accident.

As for your list:
Driver turns to the left for no reason: avoidance of debris or something on track? correction due to loss of grip, tyre failure? response to car failure? driver blackout?
Drop in downforce: wind? debris in wings? aero element failure? loss in downforce due to a ride height change? suspension/ride element failure or deflection?
Drop in battery voltage: defective battery? short circuit in H/Kers? short circuit in ignition system? blackout/brownout of the logger?
No driver input: defective sensor? driver is pre-occupied with another problem? driver is distracted by radio? siezed steering?

I think the point is proven. Data has been published and we've had suggestions of oversteer and understeer on corner exit, spotting that the speed trace is GPS speed (and inaccurate) and spotting that the driver had a lack of talent. What this shows is that if the data is published, it'll clear up nothing.

For those that are interested, I locked the front under braking and the dancing purple line shows cadence braking as I continually lock up and release the brakes. The blue line plummeting to the bottom is the lateral G as I try to turn the car into the corner. The impact with the barriers is where the purple line falls off the bottom of the screen at ~587 seconds.

That's what the FIA are doing.

No, it only shows that you didnt post enough data, but one thing was certain - it was driver error. It's enough to see the erratic acceleration after 580 to know that for sure.

McLaren have already stated what happened.

Nobody believes them.

The GPDA issue a statement.

Nobody believes them.

The FIA will investigate and release their findings.

Nobody will believe them.

If McLaren release data and traces.

Nobody will believe them.

@R_Redding: Sad but True yes. As long as an official statement will not include at least one Point of the various Theories out there it will just get ripped apart.

Smart choice from Alonso to say he doesn't remember anything!
Who would believe any word he says! Very smart choice!

I agree 100%, and as much as I love to read different opinions and theories about what did and what did not happened that day we all must face one simple truth that we almost always overlook .... sometimes a cigar is just a cigar.

You have a crystal ball now? I reserve my right not to believe anything wtihout evidence I don't see why you have problem with that.

Stop attacking people. Everybody here is expressing an opinion; they aren't pretending it is a fact.

This pretty much sums it up. Did they have an onboard camera at the time of the crash ?

If mclaren release enough telemetry (steering input, track position, yaw, latt and long acceleration), the onboard camera can be recreated ;)

I'm glad my angst at the impending large repair bill made you chuckle.
