Most twitter post on this link is Englisch

Update:
New court is started against Monisha.
Monisha Kaltenborn @GvanderGarde lawyer mentions prison - but acknowledges that it would be a last resort...

So this now very much a hostile take over

Sauber should really consider letting him drive if they want to make the most of this weekend, Van der Garde is on a winning streak lately! :p

With Sauber ordered to provide a list of assets to the court, Kaltenborn named personally for possible prison time and a hearing scheduled for 2 hours prior to FP1, it seems that the most likely outcome is an injunction against the team competing this weekend, apprehension of team personnel for contempt of court and potentially seizure of assets.

Monisha done messed up.

I could be wrong but I don't think they are threatening prison, I think that they are saying now the court has ruled and ordered that Giedo does have a rock solid contract to drive, then by not allowing him to drive then Sauber would be in contempt of court and therefore a prison senctance could be handed out to Monisha. The Judge would likely not be as bold as to do that though unless Sauber start playing dirty.

Maybe this guy could help?

No, if she got fired by Sauber she cant go back in the legal business. Nobody wants to have a bad lawyer like her.

Sauber have officially nominated Nasr & Ericsson for the weekend.

So they won't be racing.

I wonder if Sauber are trying to call his bluff by doing that?

Surely Sauber would've spoken to the sponsers of Nasr and/or Ericsson and said, look we've gotta drop 1 person for Aus until we can find a way to sack vdG, bear with us and ooo btw we're expecting a lot of media attention anyway so don't fear, your logo's will be all over the TV and papers. What's that saying....any publicity is good publicity...or something like that!

Well, we have another plot twist!
-Sauber officially nominated 3 drivers for the race weekend. The FIA rejected this and kept with the original nomination of Ericsonn and Nasr.
-Apperently, vd Garde does not have a valid super license.

Apparently, VDG should have a valid super license, but Sauber hasn't sent in a request to get one for VDG yet. By the looks of it, VDG will drive for Sauber starting in Malaysia.

As said in court, Sauber tried to claim Van Der Garde couldnt race as he hadn't applied for his superlicence to be renewed. That was thrown out when it was revealed that Sauber have to apply for one on his behalf.

That in itself is an administrative matter and can be easily resolved.

The bigger issue is that it appears Monisha & Sauber have tried to call VDG & the Aussie courts' bluffs and been bitten badly. No chance they race this weekend IMO.

It was said in the court case that the super-licence has to be sponsored by the team. However Sauber can only sponsor the licence if VDG is one of their nominated drivers. So all it takes if for Sauber to name VDG as one of their 2 drivers. I imagine the paperwork will be simple because VDG has already driven in F1 for the last 3 years.

The court have requested a list of all the Sauber assets in Australia and the next hearing is 10:30am on Friday, just 2 hours before FP1. Expect to see an order to prevent Sauber racing.

I think Sauber is playing the time card. I understand so far: As long as the netherlands sports association hasn't sent the A license to VDG or Sauber, Sauber cannot request the superlicence.

As long as VDG has no superlicence, Sauber has no need to prepare anything for VDG. They just hope VDG won't get the superlicence before Qualifying.

VDG may have a contract for racing, but Sauber mustn't let him drive in free practice on friday.

What about if VDG would have to show that he can do laptimes within 107% to get the Superlicence...Sauber could sabotage his car by engine failure or something else? They can prepare seat and everything, and the car won't be able to complete any timed lap in FP1-3...

But at least, even if he gets the drive...he is no new Ayrton Senna or michael Schumacher... after the races done for Sauber this year, I don't see him in an european international top racing series in a top team ever again. Committing career suicide for a few kilometres Formula 1...
