Matt, If you don't race this year, you will be in the same situation next year...
I really think that you are taking it too seriously.

With "race conditions" I mean the process that "translates" your car from the cad on your PC to the official solver, there is very much to learn about it (it's the same as reality, when wind tunnel measures have to be reported to the track effects).

Finally: we all are here to learn, not only to win! (Take a look to Variante's car or to Chris tamplates and you can imagine that victory is not so probable anyway... and we don't know anything about JJR, the "man in black" ;) )

The latest car with wheels on the ground (shame I didn't find a way to make the car fly haha) are:

- CD*A: 1.5
- CL*A: 3.7 (!)
- CoP: 1.3 KVRC corrected (!)

Most of what I lost is in the rear diffuser which brings the CoP towards the front (the diffuser is even producing lift haha), oh well. I have so much on my plate I cannot spend more time in this project.
CL.A/CD.A >> 2

I think that only three teams will reach 3 or more... and most will be around 2. Your would be at 4th-5th place with that numbers. Not too bad!

Last: the last 2 races will be after a long pause.. there is enough time to redesign everything

Matteo, I am not taking this too seriously but what is the point in bringing a car without having time to develop it. It is the meaning of such competition. I can look at the table and see with the coefficients where I would be.

That doesn't remove the fact that I can (and will) comment your designs and results, which is for me the most interesting thing, AS LONG AS YOU CAN WORK ON IT. :)

There is also a bit of frustration in the sense that I spent a lot of time making my car cope with the evolution in the regulations which is a part of the job ok, but next year I will start designing the car 1 month before the start, lesson learned! I took my decision. I was already on the edge with my real life work, but it is what it is.

And who knows about next year :)

P.S: I can't wait to see also what some of the guys that stay in the shadow have to show us!

C'mon, Matt, let me handle your F-SAE car, so you have time for KVRC

That would actually help me a bit hehe!

You all take McLaren example, I will use one too, let's call my car the DynaRace MP4-18, the one that never saw the race track! There will be a "19", but not now. I should have more time late summer :)
