Are there real life supercar races like those on Redline, Need for Speed or even fast and furious movies where they bet big dollars?
Maybe in an airport for 'safety'?
Or on private streets?
Maybe on public roads (when closed) in Dubai or so?

There are always rumours of the M25 circular racers betting on how fast they can lap London. Whether they are true or not I don't know.

I've heard a rumour someone did it at an average of 65mph... But I've never got more than half way round without hitting a queue, so I don't believe it.
