Some of the lines Alonso takes following a car are just absolutely brilliant. In my opinion this is what differs Alonso to Hamilton. Hamilton is the more gutsier driver of the two meaning he has lots of courage in overtaking cars. You have to have courage to brake as late as possible. I do think Max Verstappen is the next one that has the potential to be in that group of drivers. Is fast in dry and wet conditions, has the courage to take on drivers and doesn't yield easily. He also has the determination to fight back when he loses out. For a 17 year old being that composed and calm in his first season of F1 is just rare. Can't wait for this weekend to see him go Max Attack!
Verstappen? Too soon to compare him with Alonso

But Ricciardo.... He has impressed me more than once with his aggressiveness, he´s performed some asthonishing overtakes, more than once at the outside. He´s the one I´d compare with Alonso right now

Why on earth have they laid asphalt down there!? Surely can't be for safety reasons so it should have remained gravel to punish any silly mistakes.

I can see them putting some speed bumps there after FP1 or FP2, just like they did on T3 apex in Sochi last year

- I was thinking the same thing, what can possibly go wrong there? Opportunity for Alonso (and only Alonso) to overtake?
- Is is officially called Hamilton's corner (another wet race...)?

I would be more precise: Fernando was way better in a beasty car the F14t was than Kimi.
Kimi seems to be quite sensitive regarding traits of his car. He can be quick if everything fits.

DUUUDE If everything is right on a car and a car is amasing even a Mediocre driver like Maldonado can win.......... #-o

Alonso is better then Kimi plain and simple same car same conditions and Kimi did nothing compared to Alonso im not even an Alonso Fan im just saying Alonso is better plain and simple and now we see that Vettel is also better then Kimi. Or so far he has been lets let the season finish.
agree with you, well said. But careful, around here "dude"'ing people can get you banned especially whem stating the obvious :)

As much as I want mistakes to be punished, I also need drivers out on track. Already reduced to 20 with 4 cars not seeing finish line regularly, don't need anymore taken out just to 'punish' their mistakes.

Yes, I bet it is! And from just looking at the chart, Ferrari looks reliable - even more so than Merc.
