You couldn't wait for the actual data release, could you?machin wrote:Haha, intriguing!variante wrote: CoP=1.312m; CoP corrected=1.481m. The private tests CoP was 1.65m
For the rest, machin, you'll have to wait a little more
For a bit of fun, here's my estimates;
Well developed two tier, full width front wing; Cl.A = 3.5
Well developed diffuser, Cl.A = 2.2 (with slight rear bias)
Single tier, twin-element full width rear wing, Cl.A = 2.3
So I'm guessing total Cl.A of 8 or there abouts???
Front wing Cd.A = 0.9
Rear wing Cd.A = 0.6
Main body Cd.A = 0.72
So, I'm guessing total Cd.A of 2.22 ????!!!
Ha ha, am I close?!
You've done the math right! (well, more or less)
The rear wing, however, is not contributing that much: the diffuser is doing most of the job on the rear.
Drag, as you can see from the speed traps, is lower than expected (luckily!!)
