Williams FW37 Mercedes

A place to discuss the characteristics of the cars in Formula One, both current as well as historical. Laptimes, driver worshipping and team chatter do not belong here.

Barcelona updates (AMUS - google translate)

...
Williams:
Even Williams chief engineer Rob Smedley has announced a larger package for Barcelona. What exactly is planned, has not yet been revealed. However, Williams is probably first of all try, first insert the rear tightly closed hood, which has already been tested in China in a race. At the higher temperatures in Barcelona that is a challenge.

Bottas was also asked about the updates Williams has brought to Spain for round five of the season. “Some aero tweaks, nothing mega to be honest,” he explained.

“We have a good plan for updates for the next three or four races, we have bigger steps than here. Quite a lot bigger, so hopefully like last year we can all the time improve and steadily getting more competitive.”

Image I've always noticed the pull rod on the rear suspensions that teams run has what looks like a nut halfway down it. Is this is to change ride height by lengthening or shortening the pull rod? Also how small and low down is the the rocker as some teams pull rod looks almost like it passes through the floor of the car?
