It seems McLaren have quite a clear idea of the development path for the MP4-30. They said from the pre-season they would make real gains in europe, and based on initial signs today they seem to be spot on.

Has the wheel base changed it looks shorter unless the picture is a bit distorted?

I suspect they knew it was going to look mean, couldn't hold and threw the whole bucket at it.

They could at least wait for those red stripes to dry out before they started running the car


On a serious note though, have they brought any new parts other than rear suspension? I haven't really noticed anything new on the car

With all the respect, because maybe I'm not a speacialist, but can someone tell me where is the big package that Eric said will be on the car in Spain? I saw something only on the rear suspension, but nothing on the sidepods, FW, RW, rear strucuture, nothing. If someone saw more than me, plese write about the updates. Thanks.

There could well be an enormous upgrade package - you just can't see it. It may all be mechanical things.

Certainly, their FP2 performance indicates another significant step towards the front. I fully expect them to be in Q3 this time round.

Apparently they did test 3 different Front Wings today. Surely there are lots of Detail Upgrades, not a Ferrari like Package one can see from a mile away.
