According to Sutton, it was caused by a sink hole. https://instagram.com/p/29OW9EpyqK/
Leaking water pipe eroding under the road over the years is my guess.

Brilliant watching the Mercedes cars with very little fuel just pumping in Q lap after Q lap.

What time did FP3 start? 48 minutes ago?
Not for nothing, Rosberg's Championship is the only thing that lends credibility to Hamilton's recent success. Otherwise, he'd just be the guy who's had the best car. — bhall II

Vettel could spoil the party there. Although didn't really see Hamilton get a good run in but I'll assume he would be slightly faster than Rosberg. Going to be tight in the top 3!

If Vettel takes pole I can see the Mercs being all over him when they switch to the soft. Mercs just too fast on that tyre.

Ive seen many drivers stopping on the grid for a little while when the sessions over. Seems like they were finding the bite point :?: It was pretty unusual, wasn't it ?

Can anyone explain why they doing so ? Otherwise, was that finding bite point #-o #-o

Thanks a lot !

They do practise starts on the grid in Monaco, so yes they were finding biting point as part or it. It is not unusual, they do practise starts all the time but usually from the pitlane, Monaco is the exception.

I prefer fuel trickery theory, it took them a while to counteract Spain rule changes. I would still bet on Merc 1-2.

Rosberg was 2 full seconds faster than Vettel at the end of the second sector... And then gave away 1.3 seconds on the final sector to end up 7 tenths faster.

What the hell is going on ?!?
