Really?!? Drama queen?

I thought he was supremely calm and collected for someone who has just been screwed out of a win by his own team?

Oh that's normal isn't it. Those who doesn't like him are happy and want to blame him rather than the useless people at merc.
Are you serious. Noone actually dislikes Lewis. His fans however, have garnered their fair share of dislike by constantly proclaiming Lewis to be some sort of racing Messiah.
No one dislikes Lewis? You are living in a parallel universe. I see negativity surrounding him all the time.

Incredible that Ricciardo avoided a penalty as well.
Hamilton's own error? It was not his decision to pit. The team told him to do it and he obeyed.
He was too fast under the SC and caught it, loosing him P1 & P2. Driver error, as Toto has just said to Sky.
What rubbish....pretending you channel tv to us and we don't have the same sets? You are a liar...Toto never said that

They were just being too greedy trying to put new tyres on when it wasn't needed, such a shocker really. Not sure how quick the pit stop was but if Lewis had 1 more second it would've been perfection.

Very mature post race interview by Hamilton. I'm impressed.
That's what you get with water tight contracts.

Anway, gents. I do not want to read anymore about how stupid rosberg looked, and how stupid Mercedes is. First of all, it's not Rosberg's fault, and secondly, Mercedes know they screwed up. If you can contribute anything, feel free. Other stuff as mentioned may be removed without notice.

I agree, to think no one dislikes him is madness.

regarding: if he'd been one second quicker out...

Yes, but the risk of having a sticky tyre and a resulting slow stop is always there.... Seriously f*** up.

Not for nothing, Rosberg's Championship is the only thing that lends credibility to Hamilton's recent success. Otherwise, he'd just be the guy who's had the best car. — bhall II

Track position is KING. Doesn´t matter if you have 50 lap old tires or not.
Without a doubt the most brain dead decision ever in the history of the team.
With a massive Lap Time Advantage you can overtake even in Monaco. The Problem ist that the primes were much quicker than it looked at first glance since they spent the whole race in cruise control. After the restart the cars on the old primes could suddenly run more than 1,5s quicker than during the previous procession. Nico ran a 1:18 on the primes. Thus the Advantage of the Super Softs was probably smaller than expected.
This just shows how far they are from running flat out these days even on the harder tyres and it possibly contributed to the gross misjudgement by the Merc strategy Team.

Bernie must be really smiling because of the huge PR that this debacle is going generate.

Feel really sad for Lewis though. He thoroughly deserved it. I wonder how will it affect his contract negotiations with Mercedes.

How can he even catch SC when he pit and safety car is beyond pits?
WTH? The lie doesn't even make sense.

This thread will get locked soon, because it was so obvious what happened (politics demanded Rosberg win the local of Monaco) and people will vent and mods will lock.
Disgusting Race year after year. Remove ASAP.

Always disliked James and the Mercedes strategy team. Far too many blunders, here and Malaysia. Needs changing.
