I don't think they are one and the same, the showcar and the one on the factory photo, the FW and it's support pillars are different.
I think the car in that photo is the FW36 with a cut nose, the FW36 long nose probably bothers pit stop practice, since they are preparing for the short nosed FW37.

And the showcar is the ugliest Frankenstein i've ever seen.

Still, the show car is an ugly, ungainly thing.
Trying to match the high bulkhead of the FW35 with the nose tip of the current regulations... yuck.

A lot worst than both the "real" FW36 and FW37.
