So Mercedes did another double. Shocker.

Ferrari/Vettel got what they deserved. It was dumb to do a one-stopper.

Kudos to Grosjean and Perez!

Poor Vettel, he wanted to push... Podium would have been great reward.

I was waiting for Vettel's tires to go out. It was inevitable. He did like 30+ laps on them?

Unlucky VET. Was a superb effort. Amazing the way he was holding GRO on kemmel straight! Not betting on that for sure

Yes, pirelli's incompetence is ferrari's fault hahaha. Lets forget his laptimes were still better than everyone else apart from mercs and grosejan at that time.

I feel for Maldonado. He had a great start, passed his teammate, only to retire with engine failure.

Did Red Bull get an early delivery of Mercedes engines?
Kvyat was flying down those straights!

?

Both Kvyat (he actually clocked one lap over 2 seconds faster) and Verstappen were lapping over a second faster then Vettel at some points before the tire blowout. edit: They hit "traffic" which slowed them down considerably.
Basically the whole group behind Vettel was catching him at different speeds.

Yes, but it did mean we had a relatively crash free race thereafter...

There's also the fact it's a 7km lap round this place + eau rouge each lap.

Really? You blame Pirelli?

Ferrari gambled on rain, and it didn't work out. My guess is they originally planned for S-M-S, but delayed/postponed the second stop in anticipation of rain. If Vettel had just changed to softs for the last stint (like Merc), I'm pretty sure he would have been able to retake P3.

Softs. I'm talking about the guys on quite old mediums behind him. Vettel was faster than all of them (and faster than raikkonen) on mediums 10 laps older.
