Petition Manchild & PRO's Return to F1T

Post

You may agree or disagree with Manchilds opinions, but I think he certainly is a pillar of the Forum; and PRO's posts certainly supply unique insights and his technical knowledge is of great value. Let's ask them both to reconsider and continue to contribute to F1Technical.

Lets show these great guys our support.

Well, if they

did decide to continue with an active presence here, I wouldn't think that they had gone back on their word for doing so. I can appreciate that possibly they have reasons beyond this forum to distance themselves from F1 and the latest turns of events just were the straw that broke the backs of their proverbial camels, but if their decisions were based on yesterday's (partly erroneous) reporting only, I'd be only happy and satisfied to find them and their intellect, knowledge and opinions in our midst again.

CLARIFICATION:

1. I did not leave because of 2007/2008 ban rumor but because of official punishment.

2. I've expected scarbs of all people to be at least a bit more neutral. His waving with number of evidence pages of data Mclaren used is very hypocrite. He as well as many other forum members are ignoring simple, proven, official fact that STR did not use just partial data of RBR but absolutely each and every detail of RBR blueprints and what did FIA do about it? Nothing!

What about number of pages of data SA took from Honda's RA106? What did FIA do about that? Nothing!

What did FIA do with Toyota after two former Ferrari engineers were sentenced and jailed for taking out CDs with data? Nothing!

Concorde agreement and if I'm not mistaken FIA sporting regulations leave no possibility of legal possession of other teams blueprints. You can't buy them and you can sell them. If you have them you have them illegally.

If Mclaren is punished so severely for using Ferrari data why isn't STR punished for using absolutely all existing RBR data? Why isn't SA punished for using Honda data? Why isn't Toyota punished for using Ferrari data?

I don't deny that Mclaren had those data and that it is illegal but STR, SA and Toyota had immeasurably much more data from other teams and they go unpunished for years.

Why? Because their punishment wouldn't give Ferrari a WCC title.

Another VERY important detail. If Stepney and Mike are to be sentenced in separate trials for selling and buying stolen goods what about heads of RBR, STR, HONDA, SA, TOYOTA? What about punishments for them and their teams for those illegal actions?

Mclaren found that data useful because they had no experience with Bridgestones. Ok, but who enforced Bridgestone as solely supplier after they lost two seasons in a row? Damn FIA and mad max!

Why? Because Ferrari couldn't beat teams that were using Michelin tyres.

Yes, now tell me that it was a legal decision made by FIA and I'll tell you that holocaust was also absolutely legal under the Third Reich laws.
Screw legality when dictator and cheater writes the laws and regulations!

I will not fall for bones thrown from MoSSley's table in a form of WDC he allows to be untouched. He might be a god but not in my religion and I simply don't want to take that --- anymore because accepting it means approving it.

There will be no racing in Spa, there'll only be a carousel entertaining people for an hour and a half. For me F1 was passion, something I gave myself 101%, something pure and worth of admiration.

Look what it has become under his ruling? Comparing F1 from couple of decades ago with contemporary F1 and saying "that's all one and the same F1" is like saying that knight duels are the same thing as terrorist attacks. Evolution, natural process? My ass!

I think I've said it all.

3. I appreciate petition and comeback comments but I didn't want to make a fuss about my leave but only to politely say goodbye to all people I've stayed in touch with during previous couple of years.

regarding some of the lesser teams that werent punished, unless they really make gains did BAR (with their double fuel tank) the FIA is not going to go after the little guy. firstly they want to try shorten the gap to between the smaller slower teams and the big teams to make it more interesting. for sure if a team takes it too far as did BAR that one time they'll hit them for it but i know for a fact that williams was running a cleverly hidden sandwich chassis in the begining of the decade and no1 did anything about it because ferrari picked it up and they werent threatened. Its just how it goes some time man.

Manchild if i could give you one piece of advice in all this, leave for a bit, whatever but do yourself a favour and go to a formula1 event next season if you can. it'll remind you about what you should really care about as a fanatic of this sport.
